The type, thickness and colour of the glass used, how it is constructed, and the choice and extent of decoration can all affect the interplay between light and glass.

As artists and craftspeople we have the ability to capture our client's design ideas into a glass work manufactured using our full range of specialist techniques.
We are happy to collaborate in the design and glass selection process, whether you just have a rough starting idea, or a more developed concept with a clear idea of the form and colours you want to include. Bring us a picture, a sketch, or even just a description, of anything from a large glass panel through bowls and other practical items to jewelery and decorative pieces and we will work with you to ensure that you ultimately recieve an artwork which is personal and individual.

Once a design has been finalised and the colours and type of glass to be used are decided we can give you an estimate of the cost. For architectural work this includes supply of materials, construction, and installation. We use fine quality materials to provide the best possible finish, with glass and other materials selected from specialist suppliers in Perth who source their materials nationally and internationally. All works are hand-made on the premises at Torbay Glass Studio, and clients are encouraged to view the work being crafted if they wish.
